Canadian Business & Current Affairs (CBCA) Complete combines CBCA Business, Education, Reference, and Current Events specialized databases to form Canada's largest and most comprehensive bibliographic full-text reference and current events database. Updated daily, CBCA Complete covers full-text articles, periodicals, daily news sources, and indexing to other titles. Over 4.5 million articles from over 1600 sources from 1971 to the present are indexed with bibliographic content. Full-text coverage with searchable abstracts is available on materials from 1985 to the present. Subjects covered are: Canadian Studies, Canadian Business, Canadian Culture, Canadian Current Events, Canadian Education, Canadian Literature, Canadian Agriculture, Canadian History, Canadian Government and politics, and Language in Canada. CBCA Complete enables cross-database searching for Canadian content across all relevant ProQuest databases. ProQuest's advanced search features makes this broad resource appropriate for both researchers seeking a specific type of source (whether it be scholarly articles or newspaper stories), and those looking for a larger picture of the trends and state of affairs within Canada. CBCA Complete is an excellent, even exhaustive resource for Canadian content, and information in a Canadian context.

• Education Resources Information Center (ERIC)

ERIC is a major database in the field of education, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education. It includes many types of resources, including journal articles as well as conference proceedings, policy papers, reports, and dissertations and theses. This database is useful to retrieve information on a broad range of topics of interest to educators, from classroom management and literacy to learning disabilities and developmental psychology; as such, ERIC will be most useful for educators.

• U of T Libraries provides access to ERIC through Proquest, so users are able to combine their search in ERIC with their searches in other Proquest databases. • Consult ERIC’s thesaurus (accessible via the Advanced Search page) to ensure that you use the correct keyword(s) for the topic that you are interested in. 

• Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (LISTA) (A good source for publications on accessibility and disability considerations in library and information settings, including many publications on print disabilities and assistive technologies.)

PsycINFO is a product (and department) of the American Psychological Association, and provides access to literature in psychology and related fields. This resource provides sources from over 1,800 international professional journals, books, book chapters, reports, theses and dissertations, and a further 8 million cited references. Records from 1967 to the present are indexed, and nearly all include non-evaluative summaries. PsycINFO is remarkable for the depth and high quality of its materials, and is well suited to researchers and professionals interested in discovering and keeping up with the latest trends and developments in psychology, behavioural sciences, and related disciplines. There is a paucity of items on print impairments per se to be found via PsycINFO, but for those seeking materials on the underlying conditions of a print disability, this resource will provide a wealth of information.
